About

Hi, I am Nicola Gorb.

I have been a Speech and Language Therapist since 2002 and am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist.

I work for the NHS at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with Children and Young People with complex voice and airway disorders. I also work at the London Gender Identity Clinic, Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust with trans and non-binary people who want to explore their voice and communication.

I have many years experience working with people who stammer, with clinical voice disorders, aphasia and with trans and non-binary people. I have also provided help for people wanting to modify their accent or want to improve their public speaking skills.

I have done additional training in psychotherapeutic models to support my clients with their communication issues and to help them go for what matters in life. This includes Clinical Hypnosis, Narrative Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and CBT.

I work in a holistic way, working in partnership with you to achieve your goals.

I love cycling, yoga, reading, swimming, trees and nature and am kept on my toes by my child!
